Second: The Yaba wedge is a comfortable sandal (or is it a bootie?). The suede is like so soft and squishy. The height is just right and the platform soft, and I love how the funky lacing makes this a very adjustable sandal. The only problem for me, and the subtraction of one star, is that my little piggy toes tend to pop out of the side opening and that can be really weird and uncomfortable. If the shoe had been cut with that opening just a smidge further back on the arch or a bit smaller, this wouldn't happen. I was hoping to get the gray pair, but because of the piggy-toe issue I'll look for a different style. Such a bummer, as I really do love these.Fit: I'm a solid 7.5 US size and ordered a 38. They are slightly large, but I'd rather that than too tight (I also have FLY London chelsea boots and the 38 fits a 7.5 well). If you veer closer to a US 7 or have a narrow foot, I'd opt for the size 37 in these.Another great shoe from Fly London! I have been a fan of Fly London for a couple of years, discovered this brand by accident while searching for a pair of comfortable wedges. Since then, I've purchased seven pairs of Fly Londons. I've never had to return any of these shoes, they all fit perfectly, are comfortable, and stylish! This black suede pair is no exception. I take an 8 and 1/2 and the size 39 always fits. The suede is soft, you can adjust the ties to fit the width of your foot and ankle. I can walk and stand in these shoes for extended periods of time (my job requires a lot of standing and walking) and I always get compliments on them. Like them so much may purchase in another color :)I bought these in mint and taupe. They feel like slippers on your feet. The shoe is well padded and the laces are great so you can make the shoe as wide or as narrow as you would like. Every time I wear them I get complements, especially the mint ones. My one complaint is, on the taupe pair, one of the islets rubs against the top of my toe and causes a blister, (even though it is covered by leather). I am hope with a few more wears the shoe will fit my foot better and not cause the blister.I really love the Fly London Brand and these shoes are comfortable. However, I wish i'd gotten the size 37. I am consistently a US size 6. But Euro sizing can be tricky. I've gotten 36's and 37's depending on the sizing chart posted. I will keep them, but if you are a size 6 you might want to go for the 37.Theae are the most comfortable shoes. I can wear them all day and be comfortable. The lacing allows for width adjustment, the suede is soft and pliable. There is enough open space in them your feet breath uest enough shoe you feel secure. I bought more in different colors so you know they are a must. Very versitile, feom skirts to jeans they just work. I dress in business attire daily, and these go into my bag daily as well and ususally end up on my feet at some point! Highly recommend.These are my first pair of Fly Londons, and I am in love. They are sassy and unique. I love the adjustability of the laces. I love the wedge, which adds height, but keeps my feet at a perfect angle so I feel like I'm wearing a flat. I wore these shoes for six hours right out of the box. I am a size 7, and ordered my regular size 37. They fit perfectly. The price is more than I'd usually spend, but I had to have them. So glad I took the plunge.I wear 7.5-8 for Nike sneakers, so I bought 39. In the beginning, the leather rubbed against my heel. I had to put moleskin padding patches for first 3-5 times I wore. The leather got stretched over time. I don't need to use moleskin anymore. The wedges are very comfortable for me now.I only ever buy Fly London shoes now and am busy converting other people to the brand as they are the most comfortable and interesting shoes I've ever discovered. This style is my most favorite so far. I opened the box, put them on and then wore them all day and out that evening, and they felt and looked great. They add a bit of funky style to simple outfits. They're so perfect I'm thinking of getting an extra pair.These are absolutely gorgeous. Everyone admires them. The grey colour is exactly as it appears here and it goes with just about everything.My only (tiny) gripe is that there is a rough bit of lining that rubs one of my toes, but I can probably sand it down or cut it off. Can't wait for summer to wear them more often. They are a good fit and very secure to wear - usually with sandals my heels move about, but this design prevents that happening. The laces can be adjusted to suit any shape of foot. All in all, these are sandals to gladden the heart. Love them.Arrived before expected delivery date, nice colour, very comfortable, would recommendI'm a size 4.5 so I went for the 5 a little large but as always with fly great quality and comfort, these are great with laces as I have wide feet so the shoe os very adjustable.
