The color is so rich and inky for this dress, it will be beautiful for Christmas parties.The stretchy velvet makes this easy to size up or down, depending on availability. I ordered a size up because the size I needed was significantly more expensive, but the material has enough flexibility and shape to it, that it seems like you could go up or down a size in either direction. It’s a little big but that doesn’t show. The velvet is very soft, too, and the length hits at the middle of my knee.I’m really happy with it. It looks like it will travel well and is surprisingly comfortable to wear.
