These boots are totally reliable size and quality wise. I bought them a few weeks ago in advance of winter, confident that they would be exactly as advertised. The curved sole at the heel is really helpful to me as an arthritis sufferer of many years, it helps me to walk better and more safely: the ankle height is also supportive, there is also a tab to assist with pulling them on (if your hands work OK, I use a long handled shoehorn). These are a slightly different style to the ones I usually buy (Salv) but I knew they would be comfortable because the sole is the same.Tip: When I tried them on, I was wearing cotton socks which made it difficult to slide my feet in due to the cozy lining material, I normally wear bamboo or viscose socks and had never encountered this previously so it's worth bearing in mind when you buy boots that the lining may not like your socks!
