I bought this dress to a black-tie optional, early-evening wedding and reception in NY after Rent the Runway disappointed. It was perfect! The quality is excellent--it's not a knockoff--and the waistband is stretchy enough to be forgiving. (If you're tall, the waist is going to hit high, but that was really the only drawback.) It has a jersey lining, too, so it's the right weight for fall/winter--and it's fun to dance in. :) This was perfect in a pinch, and I know I'll have other opportunities to wear it. A great find!
